Due to the constant further development of the company and service structure, an efficient and financially independent company has grown in the course of decades.

Today, the momac Group occupies an industrial area of 22,000 m2 where are located more than 7,200 m2 crane-equipped production halls with all the necessary processing machines and devices.

100 years momac Group

100 years momac Group – 100 years development

The company, founded by Heinrich Kratz senior in 1919 as Elektrizität Gesellschaft Moers m.b.H., has been continued in 1955 by Katharina-Helene Lau and her daughter Karin Lau as Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft Lau KG.

In 1966, Dr. Werner Leske joins the Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft Lau KG as managing director and founds in 1969 the momac Gesellschaft für Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG.

1976 is founded the EMAC Gesellschaft für Elektronik, Maschinen- und Anlagenbau mbH, today’s egm-Elektrotechnik GmbH.

In 1997, Dipl.-Ing. Stefan Leske joins the management of the companies of group and manages the momac Group in 4th generation as family-owned enterprise.

In 2015, the business division momac Robot & Automation Technology is founded as an independent company, the momac Robotics GmbH & CO. KG.

In 2019, the momac Group celebrates its 100th anniversary.
